Blue Chip Gourmet, Inc. Awards Pennsylvania Franchise Rights
CINCINNATI, OH, 15 January 2009:
Blue Chip Gourmet, Inc., of Loveland, Ohio, awards the state of Pennsylvania to Cookies and Coffee, LLC managed by a group of prominent businessmen including, Dennis Bonvie, former Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguin hockey player.
Tom McGrath, spokesperson for Cookies and Coffee, LLC, indicates the new store will be located at 78 South Main Street in downtown Wilkes/Barre. The opening is scheduled for March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day. “We are currently looking at other locations in the Wilkes/Barre-Scranton area, as we expect to develop multiple stores in the northeastern part of Pennsylvania. We’ve been investigating business opportunities for the past two years. The Blue Chip Gourmet concept was very close to the concept we were thinking about doing ourselves. With all of our contacts and interests throughout the state, it made sense for us to acquire the rights under the area director program offered by Blue Chip Gourmet. An added benefit is the time and money we’ll save by not having to recreate the wheel.” This way we can own and operate multiple stores and work and assist others who will operate Blue Chip Gourmet franchises in the state.
Blue Chip Gourmet, Inc., has awarded the states of Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Pennsylvania and parts of other states including; Ohio, Kentucky and Missouri. “We are off to a very good start for 2009,” says Donna Drury-Heine, President of Blue Chip Gourmet. “We have some exciting things in the works and expect more announcements in the next few months.”
Blue Chip Gourmet™ is a trademarked product currently available as a franchise in the United States only. For additional information on Blue Chip Gourmet or on this release, contact Donna Drury-Heine at 513.697.6610 or info@bluechiogormet.com.
